For you, my friend.

Friendship isn't always easily described. The Eskimos, they say, have a hundred different words for snow. Unfortunately, the English language isn't quite as innovative, though it has vast opportunities to differentiate meaning. Certainly, Love is one of those opportunities. And so, too, is Friendship.

Instead of different words, however, we're stuck with simple adjectives. Close friend. Best friend. Childhood friend. Intimate friend. Trusted friend. Beloved friend. But whether you use adjectives or different words, few could deny the nearly infinite meaning in such a simple word.

Friends are special people. We can't pick our family, and we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life.

Facebook.

My friend has been telling me to join Facebook, another online community that allows you to stay in touch with your friends and everyone in the cyber world! I told her I have already created an account and I just stopped myself from creating another "cyber" account. You see I've got loads of mail accounts, a Friendster account, MyBlogLog Community, accounts for paid posts, a PayPal account (Hey! Check out my sidebar, the one with the smiley.), blog accounts, Multiply account and adding them all up results to more than a dozen accounts already!! Can you just imagine how I was able to update and check them everyday?! But no, don't get me wrong. I am not complaining, I'm just telling you that I am really having fun and it's great because I'm able to make new friends and get to know their side of story as well.

So anyway, since the title of this post is Facebook, guess what, I am continuing the account I've created before. Hurray for me! It means another addiction for me once again. Thanks to my friend who kept on bugging me that I'd continue it so I'd be able to poke her egg so it would hatch (kawaii ^___^) and play with her alien. Haha. And (drum roll please) I'd be able to create and personalize my own Facebook account and have stuffs like egg and alien as a pet. I will post a review and a preview on how my account will look like. Huff Puff! Huff Puff!

I am rushing my PHP task (the advanced search page to be more specific) and it must be done tomorrow.. ASAP! That's what I told my manager a while ago. OMG, I can't believe I am cramming. have lots of pending tasks to do - blog assignments, java assignments ('coz i'm taking up a secret java lessons from a good friend and a great Java guru), and my PHP task, of course. Why oh why?! I am kinda pressured.

Trick-or-Treat.

It will get spooky tonight. Awooo… LOL. Just kidding. Anyway, I am here in the office, burning time through blogging, and doing unrelated things in my work. Gosh. I am so B-O-R-E-D. Even if it's payday today, I still feel incomplete. Maybe it's because I want to go home and just popped in the DVD and watch. Geez, I'm such a sleazy bag!

For sure we'll be preparing some offerings for our beloved departed ones tonight. Pray for their soul and light some candles and incense tomorrow. But I still feel stressed lately. I just felt that some things are piling up and I am under pressure. Better stretch my lazy bones and unload some of the "stress" I am feeling.
