Ok. So I missed the WW this week but tomorrow I promise to start my first WW entry. LOL. My mind was preoccupied with stuffs kasi that’s why I keep on forgetting about it.
To add some spice to my quiet blog, I’d join the Wordless Wednesday because it’s simply fun, fun, FUN! I love taking photos using my point and shoot camera. Haha. I can’t afford to splurge on new lenses that’s why I ain’t buying an SLR yet.
I also hope to meet new friends and get to interact with them. I’ll make my first try this week so watch out for it.
What happened to my blog here? I’m seeing spiders and cobwebs here. LOL. I’ve been away.. yes, I know. It may sound cliche but really I am busy with other things. Though I’m a bit unproductive sometimes at work, I still find other things to keep myself busy with. It even came to a point when I want to many things at the same time. But a friend told me that it’s unhealthy. She experienced it and it was tiresome (super). So I’d rather do things one at a time so I can at least feel it, savor it, and enjoy it.
I mean, life is too short - really. There should be no room for regret, and I don’t want to wake up one day, telling myself that I should have done this instead of that. Don’t you agree? Life is precious that we should stand firm with our decisions, and we should enjoy every bit of thing around us. Appreciate life so you’d feel appreciated too! I think that’s one of the secrets in life.
If you ask me what valuable thing I’m doing rigght now, well I’m currently listening to my music playlist. I love music! Music makes also my world go round. Plus it makes me up and alive! I miss listening to my past tracks. It’s actually a mix of new and old songs, different genres, different artists and albums. LOL. And I don’t ever regret listening to music while I work, or whatever I’m doing. I’m just in love with it. I’m so into it.
I hope I’ve shared a part of my thoughts with you all.
After more than a month of hibernation, I am back with some news for you, guys. It’s not really a big one but for me it’s an important one. Well, let me share to you what I’ve been doing in those days of hibernation. I was serious about keeping myself fit (time to say goodbye to my flabs) so I enrolled myself to boxing lessons. As of now, I’m in my 5th session (you see, I’m attending this lessons once a week) and all I can say is that, it’s super FUN! Many people are actually trying this, and even girls at my age are trying out Muay Thai (or kickboxing). Now who says men are stronger than women? Haha. Kdding aside, I’m going to continue this sport because I am comfortable with it and maybe after my boxing lessons, I’d shift to kickboxing. Yeah.
That was my current sport, but my other officemates are into swimming (Yes, my friend practice her swimming skills in an olympic sized pool) and of course, basketball. Obviously, my guy friends are into it. They’d even form their own team and play against other team from other department. And that was a great way to be in good shape, to be active, to be more competitive, and to work as a great team. What is also great in doing group activities together is the experience you get from it. You all grow together and develop positive relationships with each other. Well, in fact, we even ask someone to make us a uniform outfit. But mine is a jersey type, the one that soccer players wear.
I almost forgot to mention something. If you are really interested in working out (like going to the gym, or anything), be sure that you always have a budget. First is for your outfit. Make sure that you wear comfortable workout clothes - pants should be lightweight where you can easily move; shirt must be not too tight and not too loose; remember to wear socks so your feet won’t hurt; make sure that your rubber shoes is designed for training (which is a basic). For girls, it’s better to wear sweat bands to keep your perspiration off your face. Next thing you should consider, is the budget for your equipments or gears. Let’s say that you want to learn boxing, make sure that you purchase a boxing gloves with good quality - pads should be good so your knuckles won’t hurt; gloves should have a great wrist support. And lastly, you should have a budget for your workout place. It’s a common knowledge that enrolling yourself in a gym means you have to pay them monthly. Or even if you play in a basketball court, your team should pay the rent for the place, too, right? Well, those are simple reminders for everyone who’d like to start having a good shape and healthy body. Hope I didn’t miss anything there. Have a good day everyone.
