Anyone here who love discounts? Please raise your right hand. I guess everyone loves it, who doesn’t right? Whenever we see our fave item on sale, we simply go ga-ga over it. But have you tried online shopping? I know people who shop online, even I do it. But what I haven’t tried yet is shopping for online goodies using online coupons. Have you tried it? If you do, then tell us here.
I saw one site which allow its member to decide which coupons are considered the BEST. In Savings.com, they offer the best deals and coupons of different merchants there is on the web. Simply sign up and be a member. Then choose which coupon you’d love to avail and copy the promotional codes, and place it on the proper code box when ordering for your item. I guess this promo codes will be of help to me since I am still in search for the best laptop deals over the web. Imagine, having a $200 off on a HP Pavilion notebook! That’s a lot of savings, plus of course, the Notebook PC is HP! What a great deal.
Took a test this evening (one I found on Mommy Yen’s page) and here’s the result of my personality test.

By the way, tonight’s the Earth hour. In the Easter mass last week, they reminded the people to turn off all their lights (meaning unplug all everything) for one hour at exactly 8pm. This is to conserve our energy and to let everyone be aware of the greenhouse effect which is still currently happening. In case you just checked out my post, there is still time (about 12 minutes) before it starts. I better turn off my PC now. Goodnight and have a great weekend!

Happy Easter everybody! We just came back last night from our Subic trip and boy, I was so tired. As soon as I reached home, I suddenly fell asleep on my bed and I woke up late na. On my way home last night, I saw a group of people wearing white clothes readying themselves for the Salubong or the Easter Sunday. I haven’t attended a Salubong in my whole life or even the pasyon in the provinces.
But today (Sunday), family usually gathers together to celebrate and commemorate the Easter (where Jesus Christ has resurrected after He died from the cross). Since the malls and other establishments are back to normal operation, they will be filled once again with people. Kids would be having fun hunting for the Easter eggs and win special prizes, too. Bunnies represent the Easter. Why? Well. I did some research and it says that,
European legend says that the hare never closed its eyes and watch the other animals throughout the night. It became a symbol of the moon. The hare is connected with Easter because the celebration date depends upon the full moon.
In Egypt, people used to believe that the rabbit was responsible for the new life in spring. Later, early Christians saw it as a symbol for the resurrection of Christ.
According to an old German story, a poor woman hid some brightly colored eggs in her garden as Easter treats for children. While the children were searching, a hare hopped past. The children thought that the hare had left the eggs. So every Easter, German children would make nests of leaves and branches in their gardens for the hare. This custom was brought to the United States when the Germans came. The hare became a rabbit because there were more rabbits in the United States. Today, it is called the Easter bunny.
In England, the goddess of spring, Eastre had an earthly symbol which was the rabbit. She was worship by the Anglo-Saxons through her earthly symbol.
The Easter bunny also has to do with its pre-Christian origin. The hare were very fertile animals and gave birth to many offsprings in spring. Therefore, the bunny served as a symbol of new life during the Spring season.
Have fun today everyone!
